Act 16 l.AndAct 1998 ( d) prescribe anything to be prescribed under this Act. 95. The Minister may, with the approval of the Cabinet, by statutory instrument, amend the Schedule to this Act. 96. Any action taken or done by the Administrator General from the 31 st day of December, 1993 up to the coming into force of this Act in exercise of the . functions conferred upon the Administrator General by the Local Administrations (Performance of Functions) Instrument, 1967, is hereby validated. 97. The Registration of Titles Act is amended by repealing section 69 and paragraph (a) of section 178. 98. ( 1) An Interim District Land Board established under section 7 of the Constitution (Consequential Provisions) Statute, 1996 shall continue in existence until the Board established by the Constitution and referred to in this Act is appointed. (2) The Board referred to in subsection ( 1) of this section shall be appointed within a period of six months from the date of the coming into force of this Act. (3) On the coming into force of this ·Act,- a-former controlling authority shall cease to deal with any land matter, which was pending before it and any such matter shall be transferred to the Board. (4) A person whose lease had expired by the time of the coming into force of the Constitution and had partially or fully developed the land, shall be entitled to a fresh grant upon application to the Board. (5) Where any case, relating to a land dispute, was pending before the High Court prior to the coming into force of this Act, that case shall continue to be heard by the High Court until completion. 81 Power of Minister to amend Schedule.
