Section 133 – “Offering or Giving Valuable Thing without Consideration”:
Whoever in any of the circumstances mentioned in section 132 offers or
gives or agrees to give to any public servant or to any person, in whom a
public servant is interested or to whom he is related, any valuable thing
without consideration or for a consideration which he knows to be
inadequate, commits an offence and shall on conviction, be punished with
imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or with fine or with
both.
Section 134 - “Third Person Profiting by Bribery or Gratification”: Whoever
knowingly profits by bribery any gratification or benefit obtained in any of
the circumstances mentioned in sections 128, 129 or 132 but does not take
any active part in obtaining such gratification or benefit, commits and
offence and shall on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term
not exceeding three years or with fine or with both.
Section 135 – “Public Servant Dishonestly Receiving Money or Property not Due”:
Whoever being a public servant in his capacity as such dishonestly
receives from any person any money or other property which he is not
authorized to receive or which is in excess of the amount which he is
authorized to receive, commits an offence and shall on conviction, be
punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years or with
fine or with both.
Section 136 - “Public Servant Disobeying Direction of Law with Intent to cause
Injury or to save Person from Punishment or Property from
Forfeiture”: Whoever, being a public servant knowingly disobeys any
direction of the law as to the way in which he is to conduct himself as such
public servant intending thereby or knowing himself to be likely thereby:(a) to cause injury to any person or to the public; or
(b) to save any person from legal punishment or to subject him to a
less punishment than that to which he is liable or to delay the
imposition on any person of any legal punishment; or
(c) to save any property from forfeiture or from any seizure or charge
to which it is liable by law or to delay the forfeiture or seizure of
any property or the imposition or enforcement of any charge upon
any property commits an offence and shall on conviction, be
punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or
with fine or with both.
