(h) JIU Commander in the State (if any) Member (i) Competent Prosecutor Member (j) Director of the Security Department in the State Member and Rapporteur Article (19) Competences and Powers of the Security Committee in the State The State Security Committee shall: 1. Maintain security in the state. 2. Coordinate between security bodies at the state level, as the case may be. 3. Receive reports from security committees in localities or counties. 4. Submit regular reports to the Higher Security Technical Committee or the Technical Committee, as the case may be. 5. Perform any functions assigned thereto by the Council, the Higher Technical Security Committee or the Technical Committee, as the case may be. 6. The Committee shall have the right to form any technical taskforce in the state to assist it in performing its functions or implementing the tasks assigned thereto. Article (20) Meetings of the State Security Committee 1. The State Security Committee shall convene regular meetings. 2. The State Security Committee may invite whoever it deems fit to attend its sessions whenever it thinks appropriate. Article (21) Formation of the Locality or County Security Committee (1) The Locality or County Security Committee shall be formed as follows: (a) The Commissioner Chairperson (b) The Military Commander Member (c) The Police Director Member (d) The Competent Prosecutor in the locality or county. Member (e) Head of the Security Unit Member and Rapporteur
