Summary: Mrs Simiti so-called Fatoumata Fofana and Oumar Diallo are accused of adultery, abandonment of marital home and abduction by seduction. Oumar Diallo and Simiti Fofana were convicted by the Bamako Court of Appeal. Not satisfied with the decision, they appealed on the ground that the decision of the Court of Appeal lacked legal basis and also violated the law for lack of moral element to the offenses. The Supreme Court considered the appeal for complying with the procedures, but dismissed it on ground that it was unfounded.
