domiciled at Niary Tally in Dakar;
Detained following detention warrant of …;
Accused of rape of a minor below the age of 13 years, pedophilia and
abduction of minor;
On the other hand
Questioned by the President at the hearing of 06 March 2014 in conformity
with article 384 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the accused declared that he
wanted to be judged immediately, but the case was repeatedly adjourned till
27 March 2015 when the case was retained and debated upon;
When the case was called up for hearing, the Prosecutor stated that he had
brought the aforementioned accused before the Court today to defend himself
on account of the above-mentioned accusations;
The accused was interrogated. The Registrar took note of the accused's
responses. The Prosecutor requested against the accused a prison sentence of
three (03) years. The accused presented his means of defense;
Then the deliberations were declared closed and the case adjourned for
judgment on 03.31.2015; On that date, the Court, after concluding its
deliberations, ruled as follows:
