The Constitution contains 17 parts, schedules, a certificate and a table of contents.
Article 1(2) states: "The State is committed to the respect and promotion of human dignity; and is founded on justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and fundamental freedoms and assures multi-partism."
The following Articles are of particular interest: 6. Religious rights, 7. Citizenship and nationality, 12. Social justice, 13. Education, science, art and culture, 14. Children, 15. Family, women and marriage.
Part II, covering Articles 27 to 48 is the Bill of rights. Article 32 covers Rights of women and children.
