of the Ministry of National and Technical Education

Considering the Constitution of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire;
Considering the Convention on the Rights of the Child;
Considering the Inter-Professional Collective Agreement of July 19, 1977.
Considering Law n° 92-570 of September 11, 1992 relating to the General Statute of the Public
Service;
Considering Law n° 95-696 of September 7, 1995 relating to Education;
Considering Law n° 95-15 of January 12, 1995 relating to the Labor Code;
Considering Decree No. 2012-1119 of November 22, 2012 appointing Members of the
Government as amended by Decree No. 2013-505 of July 25, 2013, Decrees No. 2013-784, No.
2013-785, No. 2013-786 of 19 November 2013 and n° 2014-89 of 12 March 2014;
Considering Decree n° 2013-506 of July 25, 2013 relating to the powers of the Members of
Government as amended by Decree n° 2013-802 of 21 November 2013;
Considering Decree n° 2014-678 of 05 November 2014 on the organization of the Ministry of
National and Technical Education,
ORDERS:
CHAPTER I: PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Article 1: A code of conduct is established for the personnel of public and private institutions
under the tutelage of the Ministry of National and Technical Education.
Its purpose is to contribute to the reinforcement of social cohesion, to ensure the protection of
students, to promote the values of citizenship and to develop convivial relationship between
parents of students, the community and schools.
It deals with:
-
the ethics of the said personnel;
disciplinary sanctions provided for in the event of failure to comply with the provisions of
this code of conduct;
the institutional framework and procedures for the application of disciplinary sanctions.
