The accused was brought to trial by reason of beating the complainant Rawdha Ahmed Omer, his wife. At the commencement of the trial proceedings, complainant mentioned that she had reconciled with the accused against payment of a compensation for injury done. Complainant challenged the minutes of the trial, which is not possible. By virtue of the provision of Article (293/2) of the Civil Transactions Act, the conciliation becomes binding upon both parties thereto and a withdrawal is not permitted.
