Article 17: Once informed of the offence, the immediate superior has the obligation to seize the competent authority to order an internal administrative investigation and to inform the Public Prosecutor when the facts constitute misdemeanors or crimes committed on the students, in accordance with article 40, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Article 18: It is forbidden for any immediate authority to divulge the identity of the one who made the denunciation of the offence being considered for disciplinary sanction. Article 19: Anyone who reports inaccurate and untrue facts is liable to a disciplinary sanction. Article 20: The immediate superior who, by his attitude, hinders the initiation of proceedings or obstructs the pursuit of proceedings initiated is liable to disciplinary sanction. CHAPTER V: FINAL PROVISIONS Article 21: Each member of staff of public and private institutions under the Ministry of National and Technical Education must undertake to respect the principles and good practices set out in this code, in order to guarantee the right to education and protection of all pupils – girls and boys. Article 22: This Order, which takes effect from the date of signature and repeals Order No. 0126/MEN/DELC/IGEN of September 27, 2012 on the Code of Conduct for Staff of the Ministry of National Education, will be recorded, published and communicated wherever necessary.
